Dr. Kat Hutchison has been providing neuropsychological services in Newtown since 2017 and has been working in neuro-related fields for more than 20 years. She has established strong, collaborative relationships with multiple clinicians and schools in Bucks County and the surrounding areas, including central New Jersey. Earlier in her career, Dr. Hutchison worked on neuro-related research studies, including a national study in autism through Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia and at the neuropsychiatry section of the University of Pennsylvania. She continued her training at Widener University before shifting to private practice.
As a parent of two young children, Dr. Hutchison understands the importance of and is committed to developing and maintaining strong relationships with the families with whom she works and the broader community. Her commitment to clinical excellence and her understanding of a parent’s or caregiver’s perspective contribute to Dr. Hutchison’s thorough and empathic work.
These professional experiences and personal perspectives contribute to Dr. Hutchison’s approach to assessment in that she systematically develops and tests hypotheses to inform a comprehensive understanding of each individual with whom she works.
